We are thrilled to welcome William Knottenbelt to our Sernova team. With a wealth of experience in Global Financial Markets, William brings a proven track record of success in developing and leading international business operations across diverse cultures and environments.
William has spearheaded large international divisions within Bank, Financial and Commodity Exchange environments. Notable accomplishments include building out the international division at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, helping to set up large IT divisions in Belfast and Bangalore and significantly increasing CME’s business across Asia, South America and Europe.
William worked at NatWest / RBS futures for 25 years and was the Global Head of Futures for ten years as well as holding other key roles within these organisations. Prior to NatWest William worked as a Commodity trader at C. Czarnikow.
He served on the Executive Board of the FIA in Washington and was the Chairman of the FOA in London.
