Stephen Li, our new Head of Sernova Financial Americas

Sernova is excited to welcome Stephen’s expertise and leadership to the team, as we look to expand our client footprint in the Americas.

Prior to Sernova, Stephen has spent 14 transformative years at Barclays, serving in various roles as Managing Director.  His responsibilities spanned across the US Head of Futures & OTC, Global Head of OTC Clearing, EMEA Agency Derivatives Services, Head of EMEA Futures & OTC, and Global Product Head OTC Clearing.  His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving growth and innovation at Barclays, and more recently at r8fin Technology, helping them be acquired by Tradeweb.

Before Barclays, Stephen spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs as VP / Executive Director, where he led the FX & Derivative Prime Brokerage and served as the Head of Fixed Income Operations.  His tenure at Goldman Sachs was marked by significant contributions to the firm’s operational efficiency and client service excellence.
