Roles and Responsibilities

• Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud administration
• Windows and Linux administration
• Database administration (Cosmos DB, Postgres, Oracle)
• Network administration, security and maintenance (firewalls, routers, Site-to-Site VPNs, Leased Lines)
• Messaging infrastructure administration, security and maintenance (IBM MQ, Apache MQ, Kafka, Event Hubs)
• Managing container-based environments
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, remediate findings and provide evidence that identified risks have been addressed
• Coordinate disaster recovery testing and management of failover environments
• Supporting the client integration onboarding process
• SQL and shell scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Contributing to and supporting ISO 27001 / SOC 2 audits
• Mentoring junior team members

Skills and Specifications

The following skills and specifications are required in a candidate:

• BEng / Master’s in Computing, Electronics or Sciences
• 7+ years’ experience administering and supporting production cloud, server and network infrastructure
• Willingness to manage a small team or pod
• A proactive approach to issue resolution and willingness to work within a shift pattern
