Roles and Responsibilities

• Linux & Windows Server Administration
• Oracle & SQL Server Administration
• Testing operating system patches and upgrades
• Monitoring and resolving vulnerabilities
• Deploying applications releases/patches to servers
• Shell scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
• Documenting support processes
• Creating how-to guides and WIKI pages
• Generating evidence for internal and external system audits
• Producing reports for monthly IT audit meeting
• Contributing and supporting ISO 27001/SOC 2 processes
• Logging issues and following through to resolution
• Suggesting solutions to Technology team that will simplify the support process
• Investigating and resolving issues safely and in a timely manner

Skills and Specifications

The following skills and specifications are required in a candidate:

• BEng/Masters in Computing or Sciences (70%+)

• Can work as part of a shift pattern
• Pro-active approach to issue resolution
